Discover Ontario and Quebec

Ontario is our largest province by population. Its varied geography includes the St. Lawrence Lowlands, the Canadian Shield and the Hudson Bay Lowlands, each possessing its own beauty. Toronto, Canada’s largest city; Ottawa, our nation’s capital and the Niagara Peninsula, home to one of Canada’s first winery regions are all places you will enjoy discovering.

Quebec is a “mélange” of history, nature and diverse cultures. The history of the French colonization of North America is present in its historic buildings and monuments. The Gulf of St. Lawrence, the St. Lawrence River valley, the lands of Northern Quebec and the Laurentian Mountains have all shaped Quebec geography and indirectly the history of its settlement. Quebec’s varied geography is also its great natural treasure, which you can enjoy visiting. Today, like other urban areas of Canada, the Montreal region has seen an influx of immigrants from all over the world. Quebec as a whole is a mosaic of First Nations, Québécois and international cultures.
